Liverpool still hopes to land Newcastle striker Alexander Isaac and Crystal Palace centre back Mark Guech before the summer transfer window closes Monday night
Arne Slot claims that Liverpool is in a position to sign whether players can get what they want before the deadline.
The Reds boss is not drawn to the pursuit of club Alexander Isaac and claims he is happy with his team if he doesn’t land any more new players before Monday night. Liverpool wants to sign Newcastle Forward Isaac, and Crystal Palace defender Mark Guech is looking for a contract to strengthen his team.
Slot said: “I think we can make subs after Monday to affect the game. As always, we’ll try to sign players to help us, but after two games, there’s no reason to need more.
“I always try to bolster if I’m the right player at the right price. I only have a few days (left). Let’s take a look.

The 16-year-old Ling Moha came out of the bench to win a match in Newcastle on Monday night. Liverpool has gone through the hostile atmosphere after pursuing Isaac, who had been on strike this summer to force him to move to Anfield.
Newcastle has finally landed a new No. 9 after being closed to £65 million Stuttgart striker Nick Urtemade. It gave Merseyside a belief that the magpie would ultimately entertain the ISAK offer. Newcastle rejected a £110 million bid from the Reds earlier this summer.
Liverpool has not returned with their second offer yet, but it is expected to arrive before Monday’s deadline. Slot couldn’t think of how Newcastle’s acquisition of the striker could help his club pursue Isaac.
“Newcastle, if that’s true and there’s no reason not to believe what you’re saying, you’re trying to sign a new No. 9. That’s really great for Eddie (Howe). It’s great to have a new No. 9 because Anthony Gordon is suspended and (Alexander) Isaac is not training with the team.”
Liverpool hosted Arsenal on Sunday in a big early clash in the Premier League title race. Slot expects both Conor Bradley, who has returned as a sub at St. James Park, and Alexis Mac Alistair is a good fit for the game at Anfield.
He said: “Connor Bradley only had one or two training sessions before the Newcastle match. I trained two days this week. Alexis also started training. I don’t think the injury came out of the game.
