Kai Havertz suffered a knee injury in training last week, urging Arsenal to return to the transfer market to sign Ebevetièze for £67.5 million, urging him to step up his offense

Arsenal confirmed that Kai Herberts had surgery to resolve a knee injury, but he is not expected to be on the sidelines for quite some time. Habertz, 26, injured his knee in training last week, and Mikel Arteta said German International needs “more tests” to determine how long he will be out.

In light of his injuries, the gunner signed Ebebeki Eze on a £67.5 million transfer contract from Crystal Palace. Arsenal had already bolstered its offensive options with the arrival of Victor Gyoker and Noni Madueke.

Havertz has recently returned from a long-term hamstring issue that effectively missed out on the last three months of last season. The former Chelsea forward is currently expected to miss a single digit week after surgery.

Arsenal later confirmed in a statement Thursday: “Today, Kai has successfully completed a mild surgical procedure and he will soon begin his recovery and rehabilitation program.

Arteta commented previously.

“I don’t want to talk about the details. He’s not appropriate. We need to explore that issue a little more and decide what we’re going to do.

“He can’t play tomorrow (a 5-0 victory against Leeds on Saturday). I want to make him fresh and available and bring in what he brings to the team. Unfortunately, that’s not possible.

“Psychologically, he’s a strong boy and is very committed, so he’s in a good place. He had an incredible recovery from hamstring surgery.

“Now he has a setback. We’ll see how bad it is, but he’ll handle it in the best way possible. Hopefully we’ll take him right away.”

Hubert has been officially removed from the German team for upcoming World Cup qualifying equipment. “He certainly doesn’t make it,” National Team Director Rudy Voller told reporters Tuesday.

“Whether surgery is approaching or conservatively treated, I don’t know exactly how it will go in the coming weeks.”

Hubert played 30 minutes in the opening game for Arsenal in the opening game to Manchester United. Gyokeres was chosen to start before him and he was unable to score at Old Trafford, but he bagged two in his home debut with Leeds and is hungry for more goals when the Gunners travel to face Liverpool on Sunday.
