Chelsea saw Ling Moha leave the youth ranks to join Liverpool last year.
Chelsea remained seen to settle Ling Moha’s fees in the fight against Liverpool, but the Premier League court has yet to determine the numbers.
Ngumoha, who turned 17 on Friday, began his career at Stamford Bridge in 2016, signed a senior contract with Reds last summer. The people of West London remained frustrated as they knew the enormous talent they had just lost.
Ngumoha was impressed before the season, but his headline moment came on Monday night when he came out of the bench to win the Liverpool winner in the 100th minute at Newcastle. It made him the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool’s history and the fourth youngest in Premier League history.
Chelsea still loses their teenage sense and is chasing compensation fees, and a court was scheduled for a year ago to determine how much Liverpool owes to their rivals.
Although no decision has been made yet, Daily Mail argues that Ngumoha’s rapid rise and misuse on the pitch will only strengthen the lawsuit at a larger fee if the dispute is finally resolved.

According to the FA regulations, young people who enjoy rapid improvements in a new environment could cost more. Their website states: “The status of each club, the age of the player. The amount of transfer fees paid by the previous club for the player acquisition and the length of time the former club has held player registrations.
“The terms of the new contract each club will offer players (considered): training and development of former clubs (specialist coaching, education, welfare) players, as well as player play records and achievements.”
Another saga involving Liverpool set a precedent when he had to settle for a Harvey Elliott figure after he moved from Fulham to Anfield. The teenagers at the time were highly rated, and the cottage eventually got a £4.3 million settlement after 18 months of court.
John Terry, who is involved with Chelsea base, admits that the Nugumoha exit serves as the escape person. He told the Sun: “We had a really good under 14 team. He was a big part of that. There aren’t many exciting players like him. As an academy that we lose as an academy, I always think, ‘We missed it.’ ”
