Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford is about to reinvigorate his Barcelona career.
Marcus Rashford is in line for the World Cup after a “big career change.” England boss Thomas Tuschel highlights his admiration for Rashford by giving him a big vote of confidence, and he is the only Manchester United player on the team to face Andorra and Serbia.
Rashford, 27, is of course loaned to Barcelona by his parent club and is the brave switch that actually caught Tuchel’s eyes, and that’s why he actually included him as one of the three players who could play big left. Arsenal’s new boy Ebeki Eze and Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon are also in a fiercely competitive area, but Rashford may be in Paul’s position.
Tuchel was impressed when he remembered Rashford last season and says he is now determined to play the game to another level by joining Barcelona on loan for the season. Tuchel said: “I think he had a very good camp. He made it very difficult to become the best version of himself in his first camp. He was in a good moment at Aston Villa.

“I gave him this camp and a call because I wanted to encourage him and give him as positive feedback. He did very well. He missed the second camp for us.
“But he already started the Barcelona game and I wanted to continue him. It’s one position with three players. After a long discussion, I decided to take three players to this position.
“It’s EBS, Anthony, Marcus. I think Marcus gave us one-on-one. He gives us the ability to finish with both feet.
Tuchel was surprised by excluding Trent Alexander-Arnold, but there was no place for the Kyle Walker who could get stuck on a 96 cap. However, from an inclusion standpoint, DJed Spence got the call, and Elliot Anderson got his first senior call up with the specific idea that England is looking for a new midfield anchorman to give Declan Rice more freedom. It also includes Adam Wharton.
Tuchel said: “It depends on how Adam presents himself, and how Elliot presents himself. They have a big opportunity now. They are a little different players. It depends on who we are playing against.
“We value training so highly, so we make this decision when we come to a game. I think all four No. 8 players we have chosen can play against each other. We are open in any mix. I don’t want it to be open. Tuchel added: “It was incredibly hot. It was very hot to train and play, and it was very hostile conditions. It was one thing to know, it was another thing to feel it, it was another thing to see it.
“So basically… it was a confirmation of what we were thinking. The distance is huge, it’s humid and it’s very hot.”
