Mikel Arteta helped Eberechi Eze kickstart his Arsenal career with a full memo by issuing a statement in Anfield. The English international playmaker recently signed from Crystal Palace for a fee of £67.5 million, but has history in derailing Liverpool’s Premier League title bid.

“When you’re next to him, you’re comfortable, he has a big smile, he chooses things, asks the right questions, and he’s just flowing up, he’s very impressive just because he chooses a pass, drives people from the past comfortably, and understands the timing of things.”
Eze availability, along with the arrival of Nuni Maduke, created additional competition on the left side of Arsenal’s newly enhanced frontline. However, the Arsenal boss claims he is not interested in selling Gabriel Martinelli before Monday’s deadline.
He quized whether the Brazilians could use it for transfers, saying, “No, Gabi is a very important player to us and I think he will remain very, very important.
“Then there is the state, the moment, how those players influence the game and there is a need for that competition.
Arteta added that he is not worried about keeping players happy after a record summer and the new arrival of seven.
He concluded: “No, no, I think it means that everyone is as happy as possible. That’s a big part of my job, and finally, our job, to make sure that every player feels they have fulfilled their potential.”
