Manchester City 0-2 Tottenham: Thomas Frank’s side continued his recent great shape against the city courtesy of Brennan Johnson and Joan Pargini’s first half goals
The joke may be that Tottenham had lost to Ebebeki Eze, but they finished the week with a final laugh with another demolition of Manchester City on their own grass.

There aren’t many outwit Guardiola. However, Frank squeezed the spots in his game plan, and ended up in his first defeat in a 10-league match, allowing a little time for the city stars to work their usual magic.

Initially, umpire Peter Banks ruled the goal with his assistant raising an offside flag against Richarrison. However, a review of Var showed that the Brazilian striker was onside and the Spurs celebrations are in full swing.
For a few minutes the city was unsettled and Tottenham cried out for a penalty as the polo fell under Tijani’s challenge at the edge of the box. However, Banks remained motionless and continued his protest. The city desperately tried to stabilize the ship.
With Guardiola preparing an interval message, City shot in the foot with the Spurs, giving them an extra 7 minutes to 2-0, 90 seconds. Instead of going to the long Trafford, his team was troubled by the Rijnders with crazy short balls. In the mayhem that continued as the Spurs injected the rapid press, Pargigna fired loose balls into the city net, leaving Guardiola’s shells.
Will Tottenham become Sparsy and lose their second half lead? The answer is emphasised and no, and Odobert and Solanke could have added more attention to the city’s misery with a late chance.
