The 27-year-old England star Eze will be announced after completing medical care from Crystal Palace with a £67.5 million switch and signing the contract.
The club has been supporting Arteta this summer, showing that the Gunners boss is determined to win the title and push the Champions League.

Arteta says Arsenal now has a “big smile” on their faces and didn’t talk directly about Eze until his deal was completed, but he admitted that signing players he wants to come is his “number one” goal.
A boy Arsenal fan, Eze snabbed Tottenham and joined the gunners, suggesting that Arteta might have more activity, but he suggested that some players might need to offload.
Arteta added:
“It’s about them wanting to be with us and wanting them to feel something special to come to us. Then comes the person we bring and our character, and the rest.
“I think we’ve done very well over the last few years to create a group of players and spirits for our team.”
