Reports say Liverpool is preparing for a massive expenditure of over £150 million before the summer windows close. They are aiming at Alexander Isaac and will move if they show that a deal is possible from Newcastle United.
Isaac, currently on strike, has expressed his desire to join Liverpool. Now it’s the question of whether Newcastle can secure a replacement after the second £55 million offer was rejected due to the rejection of wolf striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
There is also an increasing number of optimism that Crystal Palace captain Mark Guech’s contract can be confirmed before the deadline on Monday, Mirror said.
The Palace is looking to focus on the playoffs between the Europa Conference League and Fredrikstad on Thursday, while also seeking to bolster their defense.
Palace Chairman Steve Parish could only ask for about £40 million from Guehi, who has only one year left on the contract and can leave for free next summer. Liverpool will definitely push for low prices.
The other clubs have not been following him seriously in this window, but if Manchester City is available for free next year, they certainly would be interested.
This leaves the palace with an important dilemma. Parish, who had previously refused about £70 million for Guehi last summer, admitted last week that he might need to sell because they couldn’t afford to let him go to nothing.
Liverpool striker Isaac’s pursuit is a race against time, and the deal is on balance as the Swedish forward repeated his position with Newcastle’s director this week. The Newcastle Committee wanted a resolution.

Liverpool has already rejected a £110 million bid, while Newcastle is backed by £150 million. However, the success of the transaction may depend on whether Eddiehau can bring about an exchange.
The wolves insist that Strandlersen not let go, but Brentford rejected Joainwissa’s £40 million offer.
Isaac, who trains alone after missing out on Newcastle’s preseason tour, has not been featured in either of the first two games and is set to play in Sweden in front of Newcastle.
He was called to Swedish World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Kosovo next month.
Sweden coach John Dahl Thomason said of Isaac’s call:

Newcastle Captain Bruno Guimarès revealed he had not spoken to Isaac throughout the forwarding Saga.
Speaking to ESPN Brazil, Guimarès said:
“As captains and for our players, it’s a tough situation because we want to have the best players together with us, and that’s something we can’t control. The clubs, management and owners are dealing with it.
“Of course he feels we are not in the absence of a striker who is a player who scored over 20 goals in the Premier League last season. We want to get the best players back.
