Jose Mourinho could be targeted by Nottingham Forest once the Portuguese coach removes from his post, including behind the scenes chaos involving Nuno Espirito Santo.
Forest enjoyed a fantastic campaign at 2024-25 under Nuno. He secured European football by leading the club to a seventh place finish in the Premier League. However, reports that the club claims that the manager may be about to appear on Friday only burned such a story at his press conference after Nuno claimed his relationship with forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Edu, the new global football manager for Nuno and Forest, has since been revealed to have had an “epic fallout” shortly after the former Arsenal chief achieved his new position.
And because Nuno’s position is currently in the air, the Sun claims that Mourinho is one of the managers he has in mind if the manager decides to make a change in management.

It remains to be seen whether Mourinho, who has extensive Premier League experience following spells with Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham, is interested in returning to England. He is now the head coach of Fenerbafe, leading the Turkish giants to second place at the helm.
Ange Postecoglou is an alias for which Forest is listed on future replacements. He has been a staunch ever since leaving Tottenham earlier this summer, shortly after winning the Europa League.
Nuno is poised to take charge of a trip to Nottingham Forest’s Crystal Palace on Sunday. However, it remains to be seen whether he will remain in his post for the long term after voluntarily revealing that his relationship with Marinakis has collapsed.
He states: “I have always had a very good relationship with the owner, and last season was very, very, very, very close, almost every day.
