Arsenal has completed the signature of Ebebeki Eze – snatching him from Tottenham’s grip – and paraded him in front of the Emirates on Saturday night before his potential debut next weekend
Gary Neville argues that the way Arsenal landed Ebeki Eze ahead of rival Tottenham is “magnificent business.”
The English winger was introduced to the Emirates crowd on Saturday night, and he left Leeds before raiding the victory reception. Eze wore a No. 10 Arsenal shirt on her back after being confirmed to travel to north London.
His exit from Crystal Palace looked high-looking, but after he negotiated a framework for the deal, it looked as if he was heading for Tottenham, which he couldn’t complete. The Eagles wanted to hold back so Eze could play in European qualifying early in the week.
However, Arsenal made a final ditch call to land the winger, and the palace always accepted their offer in favor of moving to the Emirates, given the players were fans of the club’s boyhood.
He has been one of the most impressive performers in the Premier League recently and would have been a major addition to any club, but he has now bolstered Arsenal’s title push and Tottenham will have another near miss in the transfer market.

“We’ve been working hard to get into the world,” Neville said on Sky Sports. “Stolen Eze from the Spurs was an epic business, and it would be interesting to see Eze’s play.
Eze’s arrival gives Mikel Arteta even more options. Noni Maduke is another summer purchase and will push a spot on the front 3, including Bukayo Saka, Ethan Nwaneri and Gabriel Martinelli. Viktor Gyoker led the line and scored twice in his home debut on Saturday.
The 27-year-old was able to make his debut in the crunch clash next weekend in Liverpool, costing £67.5 million on the gunner. Two years ago, Eze scored the only goal at Anfield, and the Palace secured a shocking victory, and Arteta believed they would give them a new look to attack.
