Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney and Liverpool manager Arne Slot party together in Ibiza earlier this year.
Wayne Rooney opened about a party with Ibiza’s Arne Slot as the Liverpool boss celebrated his side’s Premier League title victory. Slot enjoyed an incredible first season at Anfield, with Liverpool scoring 10 points at the top of the league.
The Dutch celebrated their victory on a trip to Ibiza and hit Rooney at a Calvin Harris show. Slot told the story earlier this month, telling Talksport:
“We both had a good time there. He celebrated the league title at Liverpool!” And Rooney is now giving him an aspect of his story, with the former Manchester United and Everton striker explaining that he shared slots and “some drinks.”
“We went to see Calvin Harris. They put us in the VIP area and Arne Slot stood in front of me,” he explained at Wayne Rooney’s show. “So we had a good chat.
“Congratulations on winning the league. I think you still have to be as elegant as you don’t want to win the league against Liverpool.

“So, congratulations, we saw Calvin Harris, and we had a few drinks.
Despite hoping that Slots didn’t enjoy another successful season, Rooney supported Liverpool to retain the title. “This year was Liverpool’s favorite to win the title,” Rooney said in a day-season preview match.
“But when (Alexander) Isaac comes in, I think they’ll never be able to stop. As Danny just hinted, I think the quality they have was to replace Trent (Alexander Arnold).
“There have been a lot of opportunities being created, and a lot of goals have come from that aspect. (Jeremie) I think Frimpong has the attributes to satisfy that, so I think Liverpool looks strong.”
Liverpool launched a new campaign with a 4-2 win over Bournemouth at Anfield, then travelled to St James Park on Monday to face Newcastle, winning 2-1 in the Carabao Cup last season.
