Football fans are raving about Dickinson Stadium, the “stunning” new hill, in Everton, after a glimpse into the new ground during his first match against Brighton on Sunday.
Toffee finally pulled back the curtains at the new stadium. This cost around £800 million to build as supporters arrived this weekend for their first experience in a Premier League match with the Seagulls.
Everton fans didn’t have to wait long for their historic first goal inside the stadium as Iliman Ndiai scored an opening strike in the 23rd minute. James Garner then doubled Everton’s lead in the second half, with new signing Jack Glaesch supporting both goals.
Fans on the ground were sent to joy as they celebrated a scathing moment in their history as the sounds from the celebrations boomed around the stadium.

Fans from other clubs could only marvel at the arena full of spectators and its design. He even drew praise from Liverpool fans. He wrote on Twitter: “Everton’s new stadium looks great.
Another addition: “I love this Everton Stadium. It looks really good.” The third said, “I wear an Everton hat. The stadium looks stunning.”
He urged other fans to follow their club and build new ground, as Chelsea fans added.
Others praised the atmosphere the new ground was creating, as they said, “fair play with Everton to create a stadium with a proper atmosphere.”
“They seem to have done a good job with designing places where the sound sound is pretty good. They will soon become an intimate place for opposition.”
Everton secured his first victory of the season, a 2-0 victory at Brighton after losing his Premier League opener against Leeds last week.
