Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandez is reportedly ready to leave the club next summer after rejecting a highly favorable proposal from Saudi Arabia. Fernandez was strongly linked to the switch to Al-Hilal early in the summer transfer period, but ultimately chose to refuse to approach.

Al-Hilal weighed the £100 million offer and was ready to hand over Fernandez to £700,000 a week. That means he was able to pocket around £200 million on a three-year contract. Nevertheless, he was subsequently tilted to secure another Saudi Arabian professional league transfer. However, Miller reports that Fernandez would like to stay at United more years before the 2026 World Cup to “avoid the chaos.”

The report suggests he will consider departing following the tournament. Fernandez is said to accept to join Saudi Arabia, the US, or another prominent European sector.

And United recently jumped £130 million to Brian Mbemo and Matthew Cunha, appearing in Fernandez’s 10th priority. Fernandez, who clarified his choice to reject Al Giral, revealed to Sky Sports earlier this month. “I haven’t made my dream come true here yet.

“I think I can still give something to the club. I think I’m still in a position where I’m helping, so for me it’s that I’m here until the club decides, ‘Bruno, it’s time to go.’

“Obviously, since Cristiano (Ronaldo) was still there, it was a lot of money the club probably didn’t have, so he knows it was tough to decide that they were the last ones to get a lot of money for the players.

“I know it was tough for the club to make decisions, but on the other hand, I am the club captain, so I am important to them.

“But if things don’t go well, that’s a very good thing. If they sell me and get more players and more.

“The dream of coming to the Premier League and playing. For me, it’s the largest league in the world and I want to make my dream of staying here and winning more with the club. Obviously, I know people have different opinions.

Importantly, he considered the offer and said, “It was a very ambitious proposal. The President was a great person. At first I never discussed that amount. Of course, I spoke to my wife and family and asked what my personal goals were in my career.

“She’s always been a very supportive person for me. It was an easy move, even on a family level. There was Joan Cancello. My kids are used to playing with him on the national team.
