Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer went to Secret at Notting Hill Carnival a few days after thrashing West Ham in the 5-1 Premier League during the warm-up. England International endured the frustrating start of the campaign as he sat in a West Ham collision with a gro caliber injury during a blues goalless draw with Crystal Palace over the opening weekend.
Palmer has grown into one of the most dangerous offensive players in the Premier League since joining Manchester City’s Chelsea two years ago. The 23-year-old scored 37 goals and 20 assists in the Premier League during his first two seasons at Stamford Bridge. However, he could be a victim of Chelsea’s transfer policy, and blues boss Enzo Maresca has admitted to signing Joa Pedro for the summer, making it available in Palmer’s preferred 10th place in the future.
Palmer attended Notting Hill Carnival on Bank Holiday on Monday, visiting Instagram to share the video and photos of his day.
The video included footage of people dancing and singing to West London music.
And still in the image, Palmer was portrayed as playing disguise of a fake dreadlock and a face mask when he attended the celebration.
The hit star, who is usually instantly recognised, tagged the photo at his own location and included the caption “Blendinggg.”
Maresca gave an update on Palmer’s injuries in the aftermath of Chelsea’s victory over Hammer. “Cole hasn’t been 100% in the last four or five days.
“Perhaps he was not 100% during the palace game (probably) but he’s trying to put in a big effort for his club, his team and his fans.
“Because he’s really enthusiastic about the team. Tonight, he tried again, again, but that wasn’t very good.”
However, the Italian asserted that there was more to his side than Palmer’s talent.
“It’s true, along with Cole, we’re a much better team. But I think we’ve already shown last year, two or three months that Cole has made its top four for us, not 100%.”
Maresca hopes Palmer recovers quickly ahead of the international break. The Blues will host Fulham at lunchtime kickoff on Saturday, with subsequent matches being held at Brentford on Saturday, September 13th.
