Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon has announced an apology to Virgil van Dyke after a reckless tackle during Liverpool’s thrilling 3-2 victory. The Ex-everton star received a straight red card during the opening period as the Reds abandoned their two-goal advantage before demanding that 16-year-old Rio ngumoha close out the victory.

Just before the interval, Gordon handed the initiative off the wayside as he leapt into the Liverpool skipper, leaving the Dutch international spread across grass.

Judge Simon Hooper initially swung the yellow card around for the case, but was advised to consult with VAR Screen, overturning the original sentence.

At that stage, Liverpool was forced to dig deeper to withstand the relentless pressure from Eddie Howe’s team.

Gordon misses the next three supplies of Newcastle during the magpie’s important spell: The club was already unable to secure an offensive target, and Jacob Strand Larsen’s offer was turned down, chasing after Joan Wissa, leaving Alexander Isaac on the sidelines after a tense transfer dispute.

They are now robbed of ISAK’s backup options, searching for future strengthening the transfer market, and following heartbreaking losses, Gordon took him to Instagram to express his regret.

“I would like to sincerely apologize to my teammates and fans,” the statement began. “My intentions were pure. I was just trying to create energy in the game and I made a mistake in tackling. I also want to apologise to Virgil. I’m not going to intentionally tackle someone like this.

“More importantly, I’m very proud of the time I spent on the pitch and the play tonight. The atmosphere from you all makes SJP (St. James Park) special. We’ve come back as a club and now we’ve come back.

Liverpool faced boos after joining the Reds in opposition to the 10 magpies as Hugo Ekitike, refusing to transfer the summer, and retaining his excellent form by scoring the third goal in his third match.

However, the Reds’ defensive weaknesses have come back to plague them once again as they abandoned the two-goal advantage. Milos Kerquez was taking a nap at the far post, allowing Bruno Guimarès to stand up above him and nod to narrow the deficit.

Then, at the dying moment, William Osla strikes a long free kick that was misunderstood by Ibrahima Conate, allowing the striker to pass through Alison and blow up. Liverpool were forced to withstand the final onslaught from the hosts, but in 10 minutes of time, Ngumoha crowned his Premier League debut in an epic way.
