Newcastle could face a rebound in the transfer after Alexander Isaac Saga.

The Toon Army is desperate to replace Goncaloramos of Paris Saint-Germain, who is on the new NO9 wanted list. This will allow Newcastle to cash in on Isaac, the desired striker, as Liverpool is pushing to land Swedish internationals.

However, among top agents, there is fear that Newcastle will set a worrying precedent for future targets if he is digging into ISAK and playing hardball. Top strikers are always keen to know that if they flourish and succeed, they will be allowed to take the next step towards a bigger club.

Isak revealed he wants to leave Newcastle, fans have turned him on and now looks like an ugly standoff. It could put bad markers on future targets as it would be a red flag for some well-known strikers.

Newcastle has already missed Benjamin Sesco, Joan Pedro and Hugo Echicchique, who went to Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool respectively.

Ramos, 24, is not a regular starter for PSG under Luis Enrique, and Newcastle attempted to take him early in the window, but was warned. Portuguese striker Ramos appeared to be committing his future to PSG last week, but Newcastle is still hunting, but the big name could be hoping for guarantees.

Newcastle is in the Champions League. I have been struggling to attract big names this summer, and ISAK factors may play a role. No one expects Newcastle to roll over and sell the best players, but they’re playing hardball at Isaac after Liverpool rejected the £120 million offer.

Isak claims he has an agreement to allow him to leave this summer, but the club holds solid. Liverpool could only return if Newcastle is willing to find a replacement and raise the price.

However, Isaac was removed from Newcastle’s opening fixture at Aston Villa on Saturday, with manager Eddie Howe facing a striker crisis.

Newcastle is also joining the mix by Brentford winger Yoan Wissa to boost his attacking options. But Brentford has more than £60 million and Newcastle has no place to meet the price. Brentford doesn’t want to sell, despite Whissa not being involved in his defeat at Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

After a 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday, Eddie Howe said:

“I don’t control it. There’s one person who can control it. Wait and see. I’ve made my stance clear. I’m focused on the team.”
