Kobbie Mainoo is reportedly ready to leave Manchester United in search of regular football before the summer transfer deadline. The 20-year-old midfielder had not received a minute for United, which opened two games in the Premier League season, sparking speculation surrounding his future.
Reuben Amorim left Mine as an unused replacement in a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, and in a 1-1 draw with Fulham, the supporters were frustrated with the treatment of the popular academy alumni. After Sunday’s deadlock at Craven Cottage, Amorim confirmed that United 37 is fighting the starting anchorage with club captain Bruno Fernandez.
“He’s now fighting for his position with Bruno, and I’ve changed two midfielders,” explained the Portuguese head coach.
“I wanted to score a goal so I did Mason Mount (play) and when it changed, I felt the team needed to go back to one of the midfielders near Bruno.
“So he (Mainoo) is supposed to be at Manchester United, so he needs to fight for his position with Bruno.
“(Sometimes) he’s going to play with Bruno, but at this point he’s fighting in training with Bruno for his position.”

According to United In Focus, Mainoo wants to play football, so he is ready to lend out his boyhood club this week.
It is claimed that many clubs are interested in his signature, and that United is open to permanent deals if the appropriate offer arrives.
The report adds that Mainoo is keen on loans as he believes he can have a future at Old Trafford. However, long-term discussions on new contracts have stagnated.
England International has remained in the current deal for more than two years, an updated deadline that reflects his role on the team.

However, since plunging into the scene under Erik Ten Hag, his trajectory has reached the plateau due to the way Amorim played.
He uses a defensive midfielder along with a more advanced midfielder at the heart of the 3-4-3 system.
It is clear that he does not consider Maine as unfit for a defensive role, choosing Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte against Arsenal and Fulham.
And Fernandez’s status doesn’t work out about Mainoo’s outlook for normal game time during his first full season at Amorim’s helm.
