Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank dismissed Ebeki Eze’s story before the team’s impressive performance at Etihad. The Spurs secured a 2-0 victory at Manchester City with first half goals from Brennan Johnson and Joa Parcinja, sealing off Frank’s Premier League victory he took over.
Despite failing to bid for Crystal Palace’s Winger Eze for £67.5 million, he has joined Arsenal, and in addition to the rage of travel fans towards Chairman Daniel Levy, the team celebrated another victory with Pep Guardiola’s side. Frank said:
“It’s very important that we have a group of great groups. We have quality players who are very pleased. We helped two great players. Can we improve that? Perfect.
“If you can’t, as shown today, there are very good players.” The game sparked a favor for Tottenham with two goals scored within 10 minutes towards the end of the first half.
Frank expressed his joy, saying, “I’m very pleased. I thought the first 35 minutes were pretty even.
“Then we scored a very good goal and changed momentum. In the second half, this was very good because it was a very tough place to go. We were very aggressive in the press. I like the way it is. It’s very uncomfortable.”
