Speaking to Sky Sports minutes before the match, he explained the idea that he was trying to design his travels from the club as “nonsense” before claiming that a meeting was needed between himself, Marinakis and Ed.
“That’s what we need to do and we’re going to do that,” Nuno said of the possibility of sitting with someone higher. “It’s certainly not because it’s a match. But soon, of course, we have to tell the boys how to approach the last day of the market, how to approach the seasons and prepare the boys.”
When asked about reports that he was trying to get out of the club, Nuno said, “It’s nonsense. It doesn’t make any sense. We’re focusing on the game. It’s more important, we need to make sure the players are ready to play.”

He also insisted he wanted to take charge of the club that led him to European football last season, adding, “Of course.”
Earlier this week, Nuno claimed that his relationship with Marinakis had changed after Edu’s arrival from Arsenal.
“I’ve always had a very good relationship with the owner. Last season, we were very close and talked every day,” he explained.
“I believe dialogue is always important because this season isn’t going very well (between us), but my concern is the season before us, so I believe dialogue is always important. Our relationships change and we are not that close.”
Just a few hours ago, a report came out that the forest claimed it was considering looting Nuno.
