Two weeks remain in the summer window, but the next 24 hours could be key to calming down one of the last remaining Premier League transfer sagas. Liverpool is pushing Alexander Isaac to take him from Newcastle to Anfield, and we’ve already seen one bid being knocked back, but now the Magpie is chasing the replacement, so it’s about Newcastle’s own transfer plan.
If Liverpool lands Isaac, they may need to spend a Premier League record of over £116 million bid farewell to Bayer Leverkusen with Florian Whartz. “It’s difficult to answer,” Newcastle boss Eddie Howe told TNT Sports when asked about the ISAK situation. “Because that’s always the news around us.
“The players managed to lock it out and do it. We have to keep doing it. We have to deal with it without a story about us.”
