Tottenham is still working on a contract to sign Ebebeki Eze from Crystal Palace, and their pursuit can now be supported by their Premier League rivals taking turns
Tottenham and Crystal Palace have yet to reach an agreement on the Ebebekiez transfer fee, which is likely to be featured in the Eagles Open European Conference League fixtures on Thursday.
The Spurs and the Palace have stepped up efforts this week to land the attacking midfielder after discovering that the former injured James Madison is ready for a long spell of side-jobs. However, the two clubs have previously failed to agree to the payment structure for the proposed £60 million transaction.
Eze, keen on the idea of crossing London, is expected to continue his speech over the next few days. However, with no agreement in place, the former QPR man is poised to start in the first game of Palace’s Europa Congress League playoffs against Fredrikstad on Thursday.
Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Grasner confirmed Wednesday when he revealed that Liverpool targets Eze and Mark Guech continue to commit to the cause despite interest from elsewhere.

“Most of you will be surprised that tomorrow will start again due to all the rumours,” Glasner said at a press conference. “But they’re committed here and they play an important role.”
Eze is likely on the pitch to launch Crystal Palace’s European campaign, but it is likely that the club and Tottenham will reach an agreement for his transfer by September 1st. But Tottenham encouraged Tottenham, and the Palace made progress by pursuing players who could fill the large void.

Leicester’s Bilal El Cannas is one of the targets the Palace was identified in his interest in Ez, and SkySports claims that the FA Cup winner is “close” to “close” to the attacking midfielder’s £32 million worth of deal.
El Cannas, 21, is one of many options the palace weighs during the final two weeks of his transfer period. They also have an interest in Club Bruges’ Christos Zaris, but now it appears that El Cannaus’ trading is becoming more sophisticated.
The Moroccan star contributed two goals and three assists in Leicester’s 32 Premier League appearances last season as he was kicked out of the top flight.
