The Liverpool boss has approved Alexander Isaac’s stunning British record move in the aftermath of his explosive statement. The Newcastle striker escalated his efforts to leave St. James Park on Tuesday after breaking silence in the rage of an ongoing transfer.

He denounced the Magpie Chief for “broken promises” and insisted that his ties with the club could not continue. And it appears that Isaac’s latest attempt has encouraged Liverpool as he tries to sign Isaac before the deadline next month.

Now, the Reds chief has approved a £130 million bid for the 25-year-old and has offered Newcastle an offer over the next few days, as Sun originally reported. That amount celebrates the current UK transfer record when the Reds signed Bayer Levarkusen’s Florian Wiltz earlier this summer.

If Liverpool’s fresh bids are accepted, they will need to spend the summer above the £400 million mark. Previous bids for ISAK were in the £110 million region, but they were rejected by Newcastle.

The Liverpool chiefs are preparing new bids, but their Newcastle is also responding to Isaac’s latest attempt to leave the club. A statement Tuesday said: “We are disappointed that we were warned by Alexander Isaac in a social media post tonight. Alex is continuing his contract and makes it clear that no commitment has been made by club officials that Alex can leave Newcastle this summer.

“We want to keep the best players, but we understand that players have their own wishes and listen to them. As I explained to Alex and his representatives, we must always consider the greatest interests in every decision of Newcastle United, our team and our supporters.

“We don’t foresee these conditions being met. This is a proud football club with a proud tradition and strives to maintain a family atmosphere. Alex is part of our family and is welcome when he is ready to rejoin his teammates.”

ISAK remains on his contract at St James Park for three years, and the Newcastle chief is determined to keep him. Especially if their demands are not met before the deadline next month. It has not blocked Isaac, but the statement appears to imply that he will never play for the club again.

He worked on social media and said, “I stayed quiet for a long time while others were talking. That silence allowed people to push their version of the event, even though they knew they were actually told and agreed to it, even though they knew they were actually told and agreed.

“The reality is that promises have been made and the club has known my position for a long time. Now it’s misleading to act like these issues are emerging.

“If the promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship cannot last. That’s what it is for me for now, and why change is in the best interests of everyone, not just myself.”
