Alexander Isaac was given a hostile reception by angry Newcastle supporters who were waiting for him outside the club’s training ground following the escalation of his transfer saga.
Alexander Isaac felt the ire of Newcastle United supporters on Wednesday after he increased the stakes of his desperate attempt to force him through his move to Liverpool.
Isak broke his silence on Tuesday by publishing a provocative statement accusing his employer of breaking his promise to transfer. The Swedish striker has refused to play for the Magpie, trained exclusively with exiles and remains in the summer transfer window for 10 days.
Newcastle has rejected a £110 million bid from Liverpool and hopes he can reintegrate into the group despite a major escalation of the situation. However, the club still believes Isaac can stay and increase the target on Eddie Howe’s part, but it is clear that some fans have a different perspective.
A video released on social media on Wednesday showed Isaac was verbally attacked by angry supporters as he ran into the training ground. I could hear him branding “rats” and calling him a “greedy b******” when he transformed the 4×4 into a gate.

After being selected for the PFA team for the season, ISAK revealed on Tuesday that he will not consider playing for Newcastle again. The 25-year-old believes he is being unfairly treated by a club standing in the way of his dream of becoming a Dream Premier League champion.
“I kept quiet for a long time while others were talking,” he wrote. “That silence allowed people to push their own version of the event, despite knowing that it wasn’t actually said and agreed to it in a closed room.
“The reality is that promises have been made and the club has known my position for a long time. Now it’s misleading to act like these issues are emerging.
“When a promise is broken and trust is lost, the relationship cannot last. That’s what it is for me for now. And why change is in the best interests of everyone, not just myself.”
Newcastle then responded in its own statement. “I am disappointed that I was warned by Alexander Isaac in a social media post tonight.
“It is clear in response to Alex being on a contract and that there has been no commitment made by club officials who will be able to leave Newcastle United this summer.
“We want to keep the best players, but we understand that players have their own wishes and listen to them. As explained to Alex and his representatives, we must always consider the greatest interests in every decision of Newcastle United, our team and our supporters.
“We don’t foresee these terms. This is a proud football club with a proud tradition and strives to maintain a family atmosphere. Alex is a part of our family and is welcome when he is ready to rejoin his teammates.”
