Nottingham Forest has rejected a report claiming he is considering sacking manager Nuno Espirito Santo after one game this season. Forest launched the campaign with a 3-1 victory over Brentford in the Premier League opening weekend, but a farewell proposal appeared on Friday.
According to reporter Matteo Morett, the Reds have already evaluated candidates for alternative managers in their spine-confidential relationship with Espirito Santo. One source in the column is claimed to be a specific signature during the summer transfer period following recent recruits.
Ahead of the new season, Espirito Santo has publicly expressed concerns about the lack of business in the forest, acceptance and exit.
“We are very far from where we are supposed to be. We are very far from the perspective of preparation, from planning, from a squad perspective,” explained Espirito Santo.
“So we are all very concerned that we will be playing in the Premier League in a few days.
“The plans we didn’t get through. Preparation from a squad perspective was not ideal.

“We didn’t have the opportunity to form bonds – and this is something I think is even more important.
“Because we don’t know what team we have. There are players who know that the players who work here are on loan. There’s a big problem.”
At that stage, Forest only added Wingerdan Nudoi from Bologna, Duoigor Jesus and Jea Cunya from Botafogo and goalkeeper Angus Gunn from Norwich City.
Evangelos Marinakis recently emptied his pocket, but has approved deals for Omali Hutchinson, Arnaud Kalimoendo, James McAtee and Douglas Lewis.
And Forest quickly rejected the report of Espirito Santo’s issues as he continues to work on adding them to his team before the deadline.
Forest is fifth in the Premier League after the opening weekend, with a trip to Crystal Palace and a home match against West Ham on the agenda before the international break in September.
Chris Wood launched a campaign against Brentford, scoring twice in the first half to add to Ndoye’s debut goal.
The forest is also preparing to return to Europe after replacing the Crystal Palace in the Europa League.
