Alan Shearer didn’t hold back while working on Alexander Isaac’s bomb comments about his disappointment in Newcastle.
Alan Shearer urged Alexander Isaac to “stomp his agent on the spot” for giving him “bad advice.” Isaac is at the heart of the most toxic transfer saga of the summer as he is about to leave Newcastle United and join Premier League Champions Liverpool.
The 25-year-old Swede revealed to the Magpie who doesn’t want to play at St. James Park this season. As a result, he was removed from the opening Premier League clash of the season with Aston Villa, finishing 0-0.
Newcastle rejected a £110 million bid from Liverpool earlier this month. As things stand, they don’t want to back off their stance, so they don’t entertain offers below the £150m valuation of players on the contract until 2028.

Isak wrote a six-year contract without inserting a release clause when he signed Newcastle in 2022.
This shows that he feels he has been given some kind of guarantee in regards to the new contract for the bumper or being allowed to leave for a lower fee. However, Magpies Legend Shearer believes Isak is naive to give hopes a break to the “gentleman’s agreement” that was originally envisaged.
Annoyed Shearer told Beffair:
“I mean, that’s ridiculous, and taking someone’s words in football…it’s pointless to say, ‘Oh, I’ll be able to come out at the end of the season.’ Really? ”
Reports say Newcastle Talisman has been promised a new contract for bumper by Amanda Starve, but she and her husband, Meldad Godoshi, sold the club’s shares to a Saudi public investment fund in July 2024.
Shearer is now calling on ISAK to state exactly what was promised to him to make the situation clear. Instead of blaming Isaac, the former England captain doubled his criticism of the player’s agents.
He added: “Newcastle also issued a statement that the promises have not been broken or that the promises were never made. I’ve always said there are two aspects to every story, but my feelings are exactly the same. He’s doing it the wrong way.
“He might want to join Liverpool’s giant football club. I understand that. I understand that they regularly compete for trophies. But do we need to know who has promised him? What did they promise him?
“I ask a question, who’s counselling him? He signed his six-year-old contract without a release clause. It’s his agent. It’s his agent.
“It all comes down to it, I think he is given bad advice.
