Crystal Palace will lose some of the best players in the remainder of the transfer window as the future of the star is speculated in Wednesday’s training session
Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton attended a training session for the Eagles on Wednesday, making SkySports clear of their plans for the future. Even preparing for the UEFA Conference League playoffs with Fredakstad, they can’t escape the speculation and questioning of the transfer.
Even if the transfer window remains, the Eagles face the prospect of losing two key players. Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi are able to move to Tottenham and Liverpool as the Moon approaches the end, after helping the palace begin European action.
Also, there was speculation over numbers like Wharton and Jean Phillip Mateta as they continue to build their reputation after the glory of the FA Cup. And in the open part of their session, the Oliver Glasner star couldn’t avoid the transfer story in a very realistic way.
Sky Sports Reporter Gary Cotterill was on the sidelines, and soon the studio anchor set the scene. “This is Prime Sky Sports News, Prime Gary Cotteril,” they said.
“He is within the arm length of Ebebeki Eze, and Adam Wharton can ask him about his future while he is there.

Voiced enough for nearby players to hear, Cotteril returned, “I’m not going to ask Adam Wharton about his future.”
Eze was the first to cast with a look up at the gaze that was unimpressed by the direction of the camera before Wharton could provide his own response. The former Blackburn star, following the exchange of words with Mateta, turned to the camera and then adjusted his stud sports vest to try and reveal the Crystal Palace badge with his training kit.
But Eze and Guehi probably won’t be able to give the reaction so enthusiastic that their future still needs a solution. Both could be featured against Fredrikstad on Thursday evening.
Tottenham and the Palace have not yet reached an agreement on Eze’s transfer fees. The side is in discussions over the transaction, but so far they have not been able to agree to the payment structure for the proposed £60 million package.
Eze is said to be keen on the idea of crossing London, but is waiting for a breakthrough. Oliver Glasner believes that both players continue to be devoted to his cause.
“Most of you will be surprised that tomorrow will start again due to all the rumours,” Glasner said at his press conference. “But they’re committed here and they play an important role.”
