Romu’s firing ensures that Barca can register another player with the team. By releasing the wage bill and being able to follow La Liga’s financial rules, Hansi Flick can push for another player.
Wojciech Szczesny was expected to join the team. However, reports in Spain suggest that the coaching setup now advocates that Gerald Martin will be registered for his versatility.
