Scrolling through the mini league is probably something like Deja Vu. The same old name everywhere. And while it’s nothing wrong, it rarely helps you stand out.
We do things differently. Every week we offer three fresh differentials:
There is no safe choice. There is no copy paste advice. Only low-owned players who can explode.
One note of note: the first international break arrives after just three supplies. By that point, the transfer window will be closed and the early stages of the season will be much more clear. Rolling your transfer this week might be a smarter play. You are being warned!
Anyway, there will be a GameWeek 2 deadline at 18:30 BST on Friday, August 22nd. Here is our latest trio…
1. Matthews Kuña, £8.0m (midfielder, Manchester United, 8.7%)
When was the last time you could tilt a Manchester United player, not named Bruno Fernandez, in a twitch from the room? Those days may have finally ended.
Yes, United fired a void in the opening game against Arsenal, but once they carried a real threat – and Mateus Cunya was at the center of it. He scored high on all the most unscientific indicators: “I see it properly.”
Fulham is next to Reuben Amorim’s men, but he’s in a match against Burnley, Old Trafford. Cunha is set to explode from the left flank. At £800,000, he appears to be of great value.
2. Pipe Matalsar, £5.0m (Midfielder, Tottenham Hotspur, 2.8%)
“Wait… didn’t you choose Sarl last week?”
We did. And while his ownership was tweaked from 2.5% to 2.8%, it’s clear that not everyone got the notes.
Sarr earned an assist in Spurs’ 3-0 victory over Burnley, and was two defensive contributions of shyness in hitting 12 targets that are closer to everyone else on the team. What’s next? Manchester City: A side that defensively tests the Spurs, leaving space for SARR to penetrate. He remains an underrated pick, even in Etihad.
3. Eliezer Mayenda, £5.5 million (forward, Sunderland, 1.5%)
In the market for Njark to sign to boost your frontline? Move forward with Eliezer Mayenda.
The Sunderland striker opened a Premier League account against West Ham, adding two bonus points to properly measure. Now, after managing all the games all six tackles, they’re facing the Burnley side, which looks good against the Spurs. If that’s a sign of the future, Mayenda could once again easily cash out at Turf Moor.
