Barcelona has struggled to secure Marcus Rashford’s La Liga registration following his loan move from Manchester United, but now it appears the situation has been resolved
Barcelona was able to ultimately secure a registration for Marcus Rashford following Hansiflic’s complaints. The Manchester United star joined the Catalan giants on an in-season loan earlier this summer.
Despite the move being approved, Barcelona was unable to register Rashford for the upcoming LaLiga season. And if it hadn’t been approved, the forward could have been potentially on the sidelines until January.
However, it appears that Barcelona has been able to find a solution to this problem. Rashford’s profile appeared on the LA La Liga website. It was his first appearance alongside Joan Garcia.
Gerard Martin and Wojciech Szczesny remain absent, suggesting potentially Barcelona is about to stagger their registration. Barcelona needed support from goalkeeper Mark Andre Ter Stegen.
They agreed to serve as a temporary medical leave agreement that would free the Germans of about 80% of his wages. The news that both Rashford and Garcia will be available for this weekend’s season opening vs. Mallorca is welcome news for boss Hansi Frick, who is unhappy with the ongoing situation.

“For me, the situation, you can imagine that I’m not happy about it. But I know the situation and believe in the club,” the German said Friday.
“We have to wait until tomorrow. We were in the same situation as last season. We’ll focus on what we can change and what we have in our hands. Other things we believe in the club.”
Elsewhere, Rashford has already spoken with Barcelona in his first few weeks and claims he felt it was easy to adapt. It’s the football podcast to talk about the rest, he said. “There are good people like bridges.

“Frenkie (de Jong) speaks really good English, Jules (Cound) speaks very good English, but they have been here for a few years, so they also have good Spanish.
“But on the pitch, honestly, it’s easier than I thought. And while in the whole of football, a lot of people know that say it, it’s a language in itself and you can easily communicate through the general atmosphere of the pitch.”
Following the season-opening match against Marolca, Barcelona will be active next weekend when they travel to Levante. Barcelona’s first home game of the season will not take place until after an international break due to the ongoing renovation of Now Camp.
