Arsenal Plot Emergency Movement When Mikel Arteta deals with cruel injuries to Keystar | Football | Sports

Arsenal reports that Kai Havertz is planning an emergency signature for a new forward facing bystander spells. The former Chelsea man has been suffering from injuries in recent months and missed the second half of last season due to a hamstring problem that requires surgery. Mikel Merino was forced to represent him as a makeshift striker in Herberts’ absence.

Since then, Arsenal has been moving to prevent the situation from repeating itself by completing the move of Viktor Gyoker. The latter will almost certainly be the club’s first choice striker to score 39 league goals in the sport last season. However, new developments have reportedly brought Arsenal back to the market for another forward player.

According to Athletic, they are scrutinizing the market for emergency signatures after Hubbert picked up a knee injury. The severity of the problem is not yet known. The forward set will be taking further tests in the next few days.

Arsenal held an open training session at Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, but Hubbard was nowhere to be seen. The people of North London want a positive prognosis to avoid losing Germans for a long period of time.

The report adds that Arsenal will “actively” look into the transfer market to find a cover for Herberts.

His injury leaves Gyoker as the only fit and available striker on Mikel Arteta’s current team. Gabriel Jesus is still recovering from a serious knee ligament injury and is not expected to return for quite some time.

Leandro Trossard played in advance when he needed to substitute as a striker in the past. However, Arsenal seems to want to sign a natural center rather than trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

That comes after Arteta suggested that Havertz could play with Gyoker.

“They can play together,” the Arsenal boss said after Herberts scored targets in a preseason victory over Athletic Bilbao. “Kai can also play in a variety of positions.

“I think it will increase the quality of the team, the threat of the goals that the team has, the options that we have to change and oppose a lot of issues.

“It’s great to both score points. Both are in such a good form, and that’s a good question.”
