Arsenal handed the £52 million Rodrigo transfer timeline as a big boost given to Arteta | Football | Sports

Andrea Berta was handed over something that could significantly boost Arsenal’s chances to sign Rodrigo from Real Madrid in the second half of the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old is expected to be allowed to leave the Spanish capital for the coming weeks as Xabi Alonso supports other offensive options during the Club World Cup, but he has been named to the La Liga team to meet Osasuna.

Alongside the gunners, Liverpool and Manchester City are linked to Rodrigo’s movement. The latter joined Pep Guardiola’s team when Tottenham moved to Savinho earlier this month. If that exit appears as a candidate for the top, if the exit is lit up in green, the city will rely on £70 million and have plenty of funds to sign the replacement.

However, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Baragh, Guardiola then closed the door for Savigno to join the Spurs. The decision also appears to rule out Rodrigo’s move to Etihad Stadium. He has since provided detailed updates on what is happening now to a real winger with Arsenal, where the team may be profitable.

“Now, City has decided to keep Savinho, and Rodrigo’s option to go to the city is over,” he explained. “Rodrigo hasn’t told Real Madrid he wants him to have a zero offer at his point.

“Real Madrid is asking for 100 million euros, but as it’s close to the end of the market, they accept that there is less (60-70 million euros?), but no one expects him to accept the offer from Newcastle – if it arrives.

Rodrigo’s potential £51.9 million rating in the final week of his summer transfer period could prove ideal for Arsenal. With his heavily invested in six new signatures, Reiss Nelson, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Leandro Trossard and Fabio Vieira remain the main focus of Arteta among those who can leave.

Stuttgart has shown a specific interest in Vieira, and Bundesliga’s outfit is preparing him to lend him.

Zinchenko continues to attract interest from Turkish giant Fenerbafe, but the prospect of Torosad, which could move to Aston Villa, has improved following Leon Bailey’s temporary switch to Rome. Meanwhile, Nelson could potentially return to Fulham for another loan stint.
