According to umpire Mark Kratenburg, PGMOL failed Manchester United by allowing Arsenal’s turbulent Premier League opener to set Arsenal’s victory goals. Riccardo Calafiori’s first half tap-in was different as the Gunners began the title challenge with a 1-0 victory over Old Trafford and scored three points.
United goalkeeper Altai Bayindeal appeared to have ruined a dangerous corner while under pressure from Arsenal defender William Saliba. However, the replay showed that Saliba might have been lucky enough to escape the punishment for pulling Mason Mount’s shirt and the impending Bay Indeal.
United were excellent among the two teams and showed clear signs of improvement under Reuben Amorim, but their grief in front of the goal continued to experience another defeat.
Krattenberg believes the Red Devils can feel the hard one, claiming that they ignore their pledge before the season begins.
“In real time, there were no issues with Arsenal’s goals,” a former Premier League official told United with a focus.
“But if you see it in slow motion you can see Mason Mount pulling his shirt and Bay Indeal being sabotaged while challenging the ball.
