Former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood was involved in an angry exchange with Aston Villa’s friendly and Aston Villa’s Tyrone Mings with Premier League side Marseille
Mason Greenwood and Tyron Mings clashed angrily at a preseason meeting, with a former Manchester United man grabbed in the neck. Greenwood’s current Marseille faced Aston Villa friendly on Saturday evening.

His temper quickly settled, but Greenwood was soon removed from the pitch by Roberto de Zerbi, leaving behind a torn shirt.
Villa ultimately fell to a 3-1 defeat by Marseille. Greenwood scored in the first half, and Villa captain John McGinn also found the net.
However, two strikes secured the French victory with Pierre Emerick Aubameyang back to forward forward. Villa concludes preparations for a new campaign on Sunday, when she travels to Spain to take on the Villarreal.

Greenwood also made a major change regarding his international loyalty. He previously won one England cap and is now set to represent Jamaica’s citizenship.
