Reuben Amorim’s Manchester United side will launch a Premier League campaign with Arsenal on Sunday, with head coach hoping his team to be as prepared as possible.
Manchester United are doing everything they can to ensure they get as close to full strength as possible for the Premier League opening match against Arsenal. The latest steps include potentially rear-closed door-friendly potentials, with a pair of stars organized to ensure you get the game time you need.
United goalkeeper Andre Onana is missing out on his recent preseason friendly as he works in a way back to full fitness. The rest of the first team is not playing alongside new striker Benjamin Sesco, whose arrival from RB Leipzig became official over the weekend.
According to the Times, the Red Devils are investigating a friendly outlook this week at the Carrington Training Complex. The opposition party has not yet been decided, but Reuben Amorim’s side is likely to face local opposition.
If Onana is unable to return to full fitness in the Arsenal game, Altay Bayindir was able to make his appearance in the Premier League for the third United season. Turkish International also played against gunners in last season’s FA Cup, saving a gunfight penalty from Kaihabaats.
Meanwhile, Sesco missed Leipzig’s friendly friendliness with Atalanta on August 2nd and did not join his new club in time to face Fiorentina on Saturday. United won the weekend Friendly, winning by penalty after a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

“He has the characteristics we needed,” United boss Amorim told club media. “Ben is a player – he has all the information we have – we don’t oppose it, it means that we need to stop men from working!
“That’s important too. He’s really young. He’s good in the air. He’s good at running channels and he’s good at ball. I think he has great potential.
United’s rival Arsenal was also the winner over the weekend. New striker Viktor Gyoker scored the club’s first goal as he defeated Athletic Club 3-0 to win the Emirates Cup.
“Well, his goal, his threat, I think he’ll pinyin both centre backs. He’s against one when you live with space and he’s trying to destroy you,” Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said when he asked what Gyoker brings to the team. “So he’s going to make a lot of space for us too. Yeah, it’s the moment when there’s a player who can score goals in any situation.”
