Viktor Gyoker scored the mark on Arsenal’s first goal on Saturday in a 3-0 preseason friendly victory over Athletic Bilbao.

“His goal, his threat, he Pinyin both centre backs. If you leave him with space against one, he will destroy you. So he’s going to make a lot of space for us.
Gyoker almost scored another goal after scoring, pulling out his trademark mask celebration. There was an impressive link-up play to match his goal on Saturday, and Arteta is excited about what’s going forward.
“That initial goal was always very important and the way he took it was really, really, really good,” he said. “We are developing certain connections with new players, which was great, I think Kai Herberts came in and the goal he scored was on top.
“Upgrading the level for everyone really helps us because at that level we need the best from everyone.”
Atteta is competing ahead ahead after Gyoker makes the most of 70 minutes before Habertz also got on the scoresheet late. When asked who will face United, the Arsenal manager said, “It’s great to see them both score. That’s a good question.”
He added: “Now, in every position, we have different qualities. Many players who can play in different positions also have many versatility, bringing different kinds of qualities and threats to the team.
“So we’re going to manage it in the best way to keep everyone together with the right settling, hunger and the fact that it’s always going to change the puzzle and be extremely difficult for the opposition.”
