Manchester City’s busy summer could leave Savinho as a strange man, and Tottenham Hotspur might be ready to attack. The Brazilian winger only joined the city last summer, but we could see his time at Etihad Stadium come early.
The 21-year-old Savigno scored one league goal in 29 outings the previous term. Eight of these appearances come from the bench. He also had targeted in a victory over Champions League club Bruges and Juventus in the 5-2 Club World Cup group stage.

The Spurs have already been strengthened in the final third of this window, with new boss Thomas Frank overseeing Mohamed Kudus’ £55 million move. James Madison’s ACL injury means more depth may be needed, and Sabigno is reportedly open to joining the club.

It seems a lot has changed since January when Guardiola praised Savino for the sparks he offered in his must-see match against Bruges. “He was incredible,” the manager said of the Brazilian after the city came from behind to defeat the Belgian side.
“He changed the game and won two or three corners after five or ten minutes. The crowd responded and there was a chance.”
The Spurs were bolstered with a signature of Kudus from West Ham and a permanent contract by Mattistel, who will join after a loan spell from Bayern Munich. But Madison is a huge loss. The former Leicester star is set to miss most of the season after knee surgery.
“I think it’s a shame, but it’s devastating for me, and mostly for those who’ve been crazy about him coming out of the team,” Frank said. “We’ll miss him and definitely miss him playing football.”
Kevin Danso joined Tel to complete the permanent move after Kota Takai and Luka Vuskovic successfully financing amid other new arrivals. Joao Palhinha also joined on loan from Bayern, but the captain’s son Heung-Min is the best star to leave North London after completing his move to Los Angeles FC.
The Spurs will launch their Premier League campaign on Saturday, hosting newly promoted Burnley. They also returned to the Champions League this season thanks to their victory in the Europa League final in May.
