Alexander Isaac is targeted for a massive summer transfer for Liverpool, but there are young players who are moving away from Sweden’s front and heading backwards
There may be an ongoing conflict between Liverpool and Newcastle over the future of Alexander Isaac, but it is heading for Tyneside after the Reds youngster rejects a new contract at Merseyside.
As the Swedes have been banished by Newcastle and desperately try to join the real-life Premier League champions, Isaac has become the biggest story of the summer transfer window.
Newcastle boss Eddie Hau has been forced to deal with speculation about Isaac’s future every day in recent weeks, and Liverpool has raised more funds for Isaac’s potential new bids by selling Darwin Nunez to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.
But Isaac Moran, a 16-year-old Reds midfielder in a world away from the millions involved in the deal, has chosen to leave Liverpool’s academy to move to Newcastle.

Former England youth captain Moran was promoted from under-16 to under-18 in Liverpool’s last three matches last season, playing 90 minutes against Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Sunderland.
However, he leaves for McKems’ northeast rival Newcastle after turning down the scholarship contract offered in Liverpool.
Moran, represented by the PLG agency of Ex-Reds’ vice captain Trent Alexander-Arnold, confirmed his decision to leave Reds by posting on Instagram.
“We’ve made a tough decision to leave Liverpool Football Club,” Moran, who featured a coaching session with Jurgen Klopp and a photo of him as Mohamed Sara scored in a title-crowded game with Tottenham last season, along with a series of images showing his rise beyond his ranks as a youth, said.
“I hope that this decision is not underestimated and that it is known to be honored to represent the club, but I think it would be best for my career and future opportunities to go elsewhere.
“I would like to thank all the hard work of all my teammates, coaches and staff over the past decade. Not only will I become a football player, but the most important thing is who I am today. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you. Ynwa.”
