Viktor Gyoker’s production at Sporting CP persuaded Arsenal to spend £64 million on Sweden, and Manchester United signed Newcastle United to sign RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesco.
Defending champion Liverpool has paid recruiting Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in the £79 million region.
Cole and Peter Crouch joined the early kickoffs of TNT Sports for the season and lended their analysis to talk about the exciting new signature.
“I know there’s a lot of money spent on young people who don’t play much football, but I love kids,” Cole said of Ekitique.
He continued:
“I think Liverpool found it there. I think they found the stars.”
Crouch added:
“We haven’t played in the league, but a considerable number of forwards have been signed, but he’s gone down to the flyer.”
Ekitike may be fighting for his place in the team soon if the Newcastle Alexander Isaac deal comes true, but he made his point with a great display.
Liverpool definitely have the chance to afford some patience with Ekitique, but United and Arsenal have their targets for now, especially when Isaac comes.

Sesko arrives at Old Trafford, where a price tag of £74 million, and appears to be setting slots on the side that desperately needs a target.
“He’s very aggressive and energetic,” Cole said.
“United needs that energy, aggression and strength. That’s what he brings. He’s positive and he takes off his shots early. I think he’s trying to do business.
Despite Sesko’s obvious talent, Cole quickly admitted to bringing Arsenal’s gyoker to the United man now.
“It’s exciting for Arsenal fans. It’s really true,” Cole said. “You look at Gyoker, you see his abilities. It’s similar to Sesco in that he can do. He drives, he’s powerful.
“But he’s 27 years old and hasn’t scored goals in the top five leagues of European football. He has to come, start strong and show people he can. The goals are the same size in every league. There are different challenges, but he has talent.
“I’ll take him. I think he’s the one that excites you the most. He can also get you to that final stage and he can’t produce it at the highest level. But I think he’s still scoring the goal. But why might they have silverware.
