Consider the next steps after the ban on the ferocious Crystal Palace UEFA Europa League

The ferocious Crystal Palace seeks on-field justice against Nottingham Forest in its first Premier League home game after the South London Club loses its appeal for relegation to the Conference League. And Forest, who complained to UEFA about the ownership of the palace, will earn the FA Cup Holder status in the Europa League this season.

The Selhurst Park Club was assessing its legal options last night after the Arbitration Court for Sports backed UEFA’s decision to entrust the palace to tier 3 competition. But the Forest Visit on August 24th – the two-legged conference league playoff palace must face over the weekend – promises to be a talented event.

The Palace won the first major trophy in its 120-year history on May 17, adding the Community Shield on Sunday, but now loses great attraction and potentially £20 million in revenue.

Joel Ward, who won the FA Cup, said: “It’s sad and discouraging. I want Cherry in addition to playing in the Europa League. And when it’s taken from you, it’s a bitter medicine to swallow.”

UEFA regulations prohibit clubs under shared ownership or control. The palace is also not permitted to enter the Europa League as US investor John Text owns 43% of the palace by the deadline of March 1, and his French club Olympic Lyon also competed in the second tier competition. They finished sixth in League 1, so they take priority over the 12th-placed palace.

The Premier League club claimed that the text would not affect running the palace. He then sold his shares to Woody Johnson of America. The Eagles also claimed that Evangelos Marinakis, the owner of the Reds, who controls Olympiacos, was given extra time to place his forest stocks in blind trust.

But UEFA – and now CAS – decides that the palace should break regulations and pay the price. According to a statement from the CAS, “After considering the evidence, the panel discovered that John Text, founder of Eagle Football Holdings, has stakes in CPFC and OL and is a board member with a decisive influence on both clubs on the day of UEFA valuation.

“The panel also dismissed the argument that CPFC was unfairly treated compared to Nottingham Forest and Office Ladies. The panel thought, as CPFC argued, UEFA regulations were clear and that they would not provide flexibility for clubs that were not complying with the assessment date.”

The South London Club was not scheduled to compete in Europe, but former palace owner Simon Jordan told Turksport:

Before the verdict, Palace co-owner Steve Parrish said: And England keeper Dean Henderson said Sunday at Wembley: “For football purposes, we deserve to be in the Europa League. Unfortunately, if we’re not in the Europa League, I think we’d be sadly underestimating the competition.”

Forest was waiting for the CAS verdict before deciding on transfer policy this season. Last night they bid on Monaco midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, 21, who won Olympic Silver in France last summer.
