Newcastle United are keen to secure a move to Liverpool and will fine Alexander Isaac if he misses the first game of the Premier League season. Swedish internationals are facing a penalty as they are consistent with their match against Aston Villa as they have refused to play for Magpies.
Isak has been pushing for a move to Liverpool this summer, and has not trained on Eddie Howe’s first team since the Asian preseason tour. The club’s major strikers are training separately from the teammates who helped the club secure a spot in the Champions League last season.
Liverpool has already declined bids this summer by Newcastle. Initially, Newcastle said the forwards weren’t on sale and it is not expected that the Reds would make another offer unless the Reds were encouraged to do so.
However, Isak is not ready to give up on the move and has declared that no matter how things unfold in the coming weeks, he will not play for Newcastle again. This stance could result in a 25-year-old fine.
Despite continuing standoffs, the former Real Sociedad star continues to receive a weekly wage of £140,000. Despite his declaration that he will not play for the club, there are no fines yet.

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle’s position changes when Isak misses a competitive match. At that point, disciplinary action will be taken. Magpies are scheduled to launch a Premier League campaign on their trip to Aston Villa.
Isaac’s position is said to be unshakable, and his softness in his attitude raises concerns that Newcastle will only give hope for a solution and rob the possibility of a transfer.
Despite approaching Yoane Wisse’s signature, St. James’ park outfit has yet to find enough replacements for the main striker.
Hau admitted that his current predicament threw a spanner in preseason preparations for his team. “I think morale was certainly affected early before the season,” he confessed.
“There was nothing I could do to influence it – it was always there. When there are good players who are not part of your group, it’s hard to know what’s going on and how to react.
“But over time, I have accepted that this is the team and that we have to make the most of the situation, and that has always been a line of thought.
“In any situation, you have to find a way, you can only control what you have control. We’ve moved forward, and I have to say that the vibe of the group has been very good in the last few weeks.”
