Chelsea have set millions of pounds in the bank thanks to Todd Boley Masterstroke after an exciting transfer has been agreed. The West Londoners were one of the busiest clubs in the Premier League in the summer market, with a total of eight new signings. They also bid farewell to several players and raised funds that could be reinvested in more additional additions.
Noni Maduke, Joao Pedro, Djordje Petrovic and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are some of the players who have left Stamford Bridge over the past few weeks. Chelsea has attracted just £200 million in summer sales and is giving them plenty of money to play when it comes to recruiting. Now, Bruce has added even more money to the kitten without lifting his fingers.
According to Athletic, they are set to receive millions of pounds from the move to Nottingham Forest proposed by Omali Hutchinson. Chelsea sold the 21-year-old to Ipswichtown, 21 last summer, with the Tractor Boys paying a club record fee of £22.5 million.
Hutchinson is currently believed to be on the verge of joining Forest, which has confirmed details of the £37.5 million dive. The former blues winger has been fishing for his return to the Premier League, missing the first two games of Ipswich’s new season.
A 25% sell-on clause was included in the contract. That is, Chelsea deposits a quarter of the profits they earned by Ipswich in the bank. As a result, when Hutchinson is officially confirmed to be moving to the city’s ground, they will receive around £3.75 million.
Garnacho is widely expected to leave Old Trafford after losing his favor with Reuben Amorim. According to Fabrizio Romano, he threatened to refuse to play for United unless he agreed to promote a smooth exit.
Chelsea are also looking for a new centre-back to Levi Colwill, who can miss the entire season after undergoing surgery with a serious knee injury.
Maresca recently confirmed that he is eager to land another central defender.
“He played a lot of games with me, I love him. We’re going to miss him. We’re also trying to find different solutions.”
