The president of Villarreal jumped to the defense of Thomas Party after the former Arenaar star was booed.
Villarreal President Fernando Roig jumped to the defense of Thomas Party and urged people not to “just prematurely judge” after being preseason friendly and booed against the club’s Aston Villa.
The former Arasenal midfielder moved to the Spanish side earlier this month, with the weekend game being his first for his new club. Part arrives in Laliga as he is charged with five counts of rape against two women and one count of sexual assault on a third woman – accused a few days after his contract with Emirates ended.
Partey previously denied all charges against him.
He appeared in Westminster Magistrate’s court last week and faced charges before conditional bail was granted. His bail terms meant that the three women involved could not be contacted and that police had to be notified of permanent changes to their addresses and international travel.
The Ghanaians were able to complete their move to Villarreal after appearing in court, but since then, it has been controversial and Jars have roared over the weekend, but Roig has argued that it only goes away, not from home fans.

He said, “The player is currently undergoing legal proceedings. He remains innocent and denies any charges against him.
“The club supports the presumption of innocence and it is the responsibility of the UK courts to make the facts clear. We have spent years showing value in all kinds of activities. Of course, we respect all kinds of presumptions of violence, whether it’s inside football.
Roig was pushed against a boo directed at his players, but he said, “The English language (Aston Villa fans) are banging hists through the part. I’m not a Villarreal fan.
“Our fans don’t want to blow away the players on our team. We have to stand with our team and respect the presumption of innocence. He is not a convicted player. We need to be careful and wait for justice.
Part defended himself in a London courtroom next month, with Arsenal firing fire after allegedly raping him. But Mikel Arteta came out and kept the club acting properly. He said with confidence that the club followed all the right process, “100%.”
