SkySports has announced its Premier League reporting brand ahead of the first season of its new £6.7 billion broadcasting contract.

Sky Sports has made major changes to the way Premier League football is broadcast ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Sky is about to show off this season (2024/25 128-215 matches), and renew the offering for fans in the first year of its new four-year £67 billion rights deal.

The station has kept its desire to seek younger audiences from the courts and has wiped out changes in personnel in recent years. And ahead of the start of the Premier League season this weekend, Sky has announced a lot of fresh changes.

The headline change is the introduction of multi-views that allow viewers to follow up four matches at the same time. The move reflects the famous red zone program from the NFL, and is most likely to be seen on Sundays in the new season, with the main screen and three other games smaller, with one commentary team flying between them.

“The question for us is how can we strengthen what we have, and how can we take advantage of our new rights?” said Sky’s director of football Gary Hughes. “We have four simultaneous games so we may have five games in the medium term. That means it is the best way to provide the best use of the assets we have.

All the final game on the final day of the season was live, with Sky also changing the theme music, replacing Celeste’s stoppage with an improved version of Goat by Cristale in Casabian Feet.

Their desire to chase after the younger audience was shown by the employment of Roma Kemp to front a show called the Premier League on Friday. It is also evident in the use of fans from each of the 20 Premier League clubs.

Meanwhile, Jamie Carragher has a new role, with a new show called Extra Time on Sunday, in honor of the Classic Super Sunday program. Like Kelly Cates, there are new familiar presenters in the form of Mark Chapman.

Sky’s Chief Sports Officer Jonathan Licht said: “This is a groundbreaking season for Sky Sports and the Premier League, and for the first time, it brings fans to over 215 live matches every 2pm on Super Sunday.

“We’re introducing new innovations like Multiview, Super Sunday: Extra Time, and new programs like Sky Sports News’ new look schedule. From the moment the season begins, fans stay on the biggest storyline of all, making sure they don’t miss the moment of action.”
