1. Nikola Milenkovic, £5.5 million (Defender, Nottingham Forest, 9.9%)
Forest held the 13-seat joint-best with Arsenal last season, but somehow only one of the defenders has 10% or more ownership.
Maybe it’s a bias in modernity after a flat finish, maybe it’s afraid of European fatigue. Either way, their start is friendly, with two promoted aspects in the first six.
Milenkovic gets our choice thanks to the threat of his goals and the new defensive contribution points.
Teammate Murillo (£5.5 million, 5.9%) is a great alternative, while Neco Williams (£5.0m, 8.9%) is a budget route to the forest backline. In fact, doubling the forest defenders isn’t crazy.
2. Pipe Matalsar, £5.0m (Midfielder, Tottenham Hotspur, 2.5%)
Everyone is packing Sarah (£14.5m), Cole Palmer (£10.5m) and Bruno Fernandez (£9.0m) into the middle. Move the PAPE MATAR SARR forward.
His spurs numbers under Ange Postecoglou were poor, but with Thomas Frank’s new system in action, there is a great range of leap.
Are you not sure? Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (£5.0 million, 3.4%) could also thrive in Everton, David Moyes’ counterattack system.

3. Nathan Collins, £5.0m (Defender, Brentford, 1.9%)
There’s a new manager in the town of Brenford… their old set-piece coach, Keith Andrews.
That’s good news for Nathan Collins, who wreaked havoc from the corner last season and grabbed seven assists from defense.
Bryan Mbeumo leaves, and perhaps Yoane Wissa next, Brentford could be forced to lean heavily towards set pieces and defensive resilience.
Collins offers both – considering he choked defensive contribution points in 16 games last season – with 1.9% ownership, he could be a different maker.
