According to the TNT Sports team, Viktor Gyoker has to prove himself following a prominent move to Arsenal, who has not played in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

Sweden has signed for Sporting CP Gunners on a deal reportedly reportedly worth more than £63 million, following negotiations drawn between the two clubs.

According to Joe Cole, the 27-year-old scored 54 goals in 52 matches in Portuguese last season, but his lack of experience in the top European divisions is a “minor worries.”

Gyokeres’ move to North London is just one of several moves that will catch your eye on England’s top flight this summer.

TNT Sports experts Cole, Peter Crouch and Owen Hargreaves, along with commentator Fletcher and presenter Lindsay Hipgrave, have given their verdict on the major Premier League transfers of the summer so far.

Viktor Gyoker goes to Arsenal (£54.8m + £8.6m)

Crouch – Verdict: 7/10. “Obviously he had a great season in Portugal and hasn’t proven in the Premier League. He played in the championship and left in Europe.

“Is he going to get enough opportunities? If the team is on the low block against Arsenal, will he get enough opportunities to take them?”

Fletcher – Verdict: 6/10. “His shot conversion rate in the Champions League last season was 25%. He needs to be better when he becomes a player who decides the Arsenal title.

“I think he has a lot of questions to answer at a big club like Arsenal, where you have to score a big goal when it really matters.

“I’m not necessarily sure he’s going to do that. I can be a meme by the end of the season, but I’m going to go to six.”

Cole – Verdict: 8/10. “Good signing, exactly what Arsenal needs – centre-forward. Fans feel at ease that the centre-forward will be recognized and enter the season.

“(a) I’m not a bit worried about the fact that he’s not playing in the top five leagues in Europe. He’s 27 years old, but he’s scoring goals.”

Hargreaves -Verdict 7/10: “They needed goals. They have a lot of goals last season.

“It’s not yet proven in the Premier League, but I think his confidence is ready for the time he was in and the goals he scored. I think he’s going to take a big step.”

Hipgrave-Version: 8/10. “He’s going up the numbers, and we need to see if he can provide that in the Premier League.

“My concern is that he hasn’t played in the top five leagues in Europe yet. He hasn’t played in those games for a minute.

“It’s obviously a completely different story to do that in Portugal and do that against the Premier League defense, so I think we need to see how he adapts to the Premier League.”

Brian Mbeumo to Manchester United (£65 + £6 million)

Crouch – Verdict: 8/10. “Again, there’s a good signature, lots of money, but he’s guaranteed his goal in the Premier League. He proved that.”

Fletcher – Verdict: 7/10. “I think Brian Mbeumo is a good player. I think he might benefit from the transition to Manchester United.

“But I don’t think he’ll be a superstar. I think he’ll make them better, but I’m going to give him a seven.”

Cole – Verdict: 7/10. “I think Man United is where it needs to be. They don’t shop at the top, top, table so I think he’ll improve his team, so I think that’s a good sign.”

Hargreaves – Verdict: 9/10. “20 goals and seven assists last season. Man United need goals and only need him 25 so he’ll be much better and he has a lot of time left.”

Hipgrave – Verdict 8/10. “I think Man United and what they need right now are buying a proven Premier League player who has repeatedly provided solid numbers, goals and assists.

“I think it’s a really solid signature for them and the kind of character they need in that dressing room.”

Florian Wirtz to Liverpool (£100m + £16m)

Crouch – Verdict: 9/10. “I love him as a soccer player. He’s the player I want to see, so I’m sure there are 10 out of 10 people.

“He’s nine out of 10 because we need to see how he adjusts.”

Fletcher – Verdict: 7/10. “When you spend that amount on a player, he has to be a superstar.

“Liverpool spent money, I think he’s great, but when you consider the pound he spent on performance, I think it’s difficult to get a teenager and nine.

“I think he’ll have a really solid season, Liverpool will be fine, but I’m going to give it a 7 based on the cost.”

Joe Cole – Verdict: 9/10. “In all aspects of output, skill, how he gets the ball on the pitch, everything he wants from a footballer in his position, he’s elite.”

Owen Hargreaves – Verdict: 9.5/10. “Only reasons (not) 10, that’s a lot of money, but I think they have great young players.”

Hipgrave – Verdict: 9/10. “I think he was the most in demand for the Transfer Window, and Liverpool took him away, and they let him do it without making a fuss.

“He’s just giving them versatility and makes them more liquid in advance. I think he’s great with or without a ball.

“I think he’s proven he can perform at the highest level with Leverkusen in that invincible season, and I think he can do that in the Premier League.”

Rayan Cherki to Manchester City (£30.3 million +£5 million)

Crouch – Verdict: 9/10. “It’s something that really excites me. It’s a bit like Wirtz. He can’t wait for me to see it.

“I think this can surprise people. Anyone who has seen him knows how good he is, but if you’ve never seen him play, you’re there for a real treat.”

Fletcher – Verdict: 9/10. “He’s almost talented and Pep Guardiola rarely loves him. He’s on a team that creates a lot. He’ll be the main creator.

“I really like him. He calms down quickly. I think he can become a difference maker in Manchester City.”

Hargreaves – Verdict: 9/10. “I think you’ve probably seen Cherki in this transfer window before.

“I think he was involved in over 30 goals last season, which is special for the young man.

“Smart players, playing with great courage and a little heretic, I think Cherki will be a surprise for the Premier League next season.”

Hipgrave-Version: 7/10. “I can’t wait to see him while he’s in action. I think he’ll be very exciting to see. He’s an absolute heresy.

“What I don’t know is how he fits into that Manchester City system and how he plays it under PEP.

“We know he’s going to be overloaded with instructions, and he’s going to have so much tactical information.

“I hope you don’t think so, because otherwise he’s going to take the Premier League by storm.”
