Manchester United have been told by Bruno Fernandez to complete more transfer business this summer after signing Matthews Cunha and Brian Mbeumo on the frontlines of Reuben Amorim
Bruno Fernandez has called on Manchester United to make a newer signature following the final match of the US Tour. The Red Devils captain called his part performance “lazy” before pleading for a newer addition.
United have already added Matthews Cuña and Brian Mbeumo to the forefront of Reuben Amorim this summer, and young defender Diego Leon has also joined the Portuguese coaching team. However, after finishing 15th in the Premier League last season, the 13x champion will need to find significant improvements to transform into a competitive 2025/26.
And while I believe Fernandez has begun to improve thanks to his preparation, he hopes to compete more for the first team location. The 30-year-old wants to see a signature or two along the way for United.
“It’s good to be positive (the US Tour) and build bonds with players,” Fernandez said. “It looked a bit lazy today, so we need to change that.
“I don’t want to dig into anyone, but I think the club is doing their best they can in regards to all the financial situation they’re talking about. I don’t know about that, I’m not involved in it.

“We needed more quality to everyone step up a little bit more and do more to get into the starting lineup, and I think that’s what the clubs and managers are trying to do.
Miller Football will look at who United can add to meet Fernandez’s demands.
Benjamin Sesco
RB Leipzig striker is the focus of attention from Manchester United and Newcastle, which could cost more than £70 million. The forward, who scored 13 goals last season, is talking to players for the first time before bidding for the Vandesliga side, so United is said to be in an advantage, but he hasn’t shown his preferences.

This summer, there was talk of a new goalkeeper on Manchester United’s agenda, and few are more important than Gianluigi donnarumma. The Paris Saint-Germain star’s contract is set to expire next year with few indications of extension.
Reports show that the previous AC Milan shot stoppers are interested in the move, but the man now reports that there is no budget for the new first choice. Italian International may be available free of charge within 12 months.
John Victor
A more affordable option is Botafogo goalkeeper John Victor. Last month it was reported that the Red Devils were ready to trigger his release clause.
United have already been linked with many goalkeepers, including Aston Villa’s Emi Martinez, Porto Ace Diogo Costa and Cruz Azur’s No. 1 Kevin Mier. The report in Brazil told the South American side that United are ready to move for Victor and are willing to inflict a release clause of R$44.5 million (£6 million) for players.
However, there will be no further movement.
Christopher Nucank
Earlier this summer, it was reported that Christopher Nukank could be used for £305 million if United wanted to move. The Frenchman didn’t shine at Chelsea after seeing his time at a club confused by injuries.
With United wanting to sell Alejandro Garnacho and Chelsea is a leading candidate for his signature, there remains a chance that Nukank will be available in the make-up class for any deal. The Red Devils may prefer full transfer fees to boost their position in profit and sustainability rules.
