Talent teenagers Ling Moha and Will Wright show that there is plenty to offer Liverpool managers this season.
Liverpool may have spent some cash on the arrival of some big names this summer, but the kids are fine too.
Things like Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike hugged headlines during The Reds’ £265 million spending, but it was the appearance of the 16-year-old who made only one competitive appearance of the senior, the Liverpool preseason tale.
And just after his latest hero, Rionugumoha was joined by another talented teen who played in front of a turbulent crowd for several days.
Ngumoha joined Liverpool, 15, last summer. The Reds’ offer of a way to the first team proved enough to seduce him from the Londoners who lost him.

Chelsea legend John Terry, who coached the Blues Academy, tweeted, “This boy will be a top player,” and the former Stamford Bridge captain has proven right.
After making his senior debut with Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup last January, Ngumoha scored three goals this preseason, scoring his latest goal just two minutes after Monday’s opening friendly against Athletic Bilbao at the KOP end.
Having taken the ball into half of himself, Ngumoha placed an accurate shot from the post to trigger a Wild celebration after racing on a visiting defense.
Reds fans were chanting the teenager’s name and didn’t stop until Darwin Nunes nodded to get 2-0 four minutes later.
Naturally, there is a huge level of excitement around Ngumoha, and Arne Slot’s attempt to curb the hype around him appears to be doomed to fail.
After Louis Diaz is sold to Bayern Munich, there is an empty seat on the left side of the Liverpool attack, and Cody Gakupo will become a senior player in that position, but Ngumoha offers a great audition for his research.
Second in Monday’s friendly match between the two was 17-year-old Will Wright announced his cameo appearance from the bench on the same day as Gary Neville and David Beckham’s move from Salford City.
Wright, who was also interested in Arsenal, scored the goal by Federico Chiesa, Spanish No. 1 Unai Simon, just to save his efforts.
Wright, who has made his fourth senior appearance at Salford, is another very well-watched for Liverpool’s future.
However, with the strong belief that one or both of Nunez and Chiesa will depart this summer, the opportunity may then be knocked out for him soon.
