As Liverpool aims to maintain the crown, Alan Shearer laid out the predictions for the final Premier League table of the 2025-26 Premier League.
Alan Shearer is looking at the upcoming Premier League and believes the current situation can remain at the top and bottom. We didn’t get much of a title race last season, given how dominant and consistent Liverpool is.
They spent a large sum of money, including signing the UK and Records Florian Whartz to go on a succession. Alexander Isaac is still able to move to Anfield, and Shearer cannot pass the Reds as champion.
Leeds, Burnley and Sunderland are back on top flights. They’ll want to take a snap of recent trends where teams have moved straight back to the championship.
But Shearer turned all three upside down to enjoy only a year in the Premier League before returning. This will mark the third year when the three promotional teams fail to survive the trend of concern and are unable to further emphasize the bay between the top flight and the second tier.
Arsenal is being tilted to finish second in his fourth year running. He added big Victor’s Gyoker as his No. 9, but he might still miss the award that he is eager to land on the pressure mount.

Manchester City went through its final semester and began the year without Kevin de Bruin for the first time in 10 years. Despite adding enhancements, Shearer has not supported Pep Guardiola and Co. to regain the crown, instead choosing third.
Their Cross City rival Manchester United reached a new low last year and signed some notable names in the offense. Critics predict a better year, but still not the year they returned to the Champions League.
Instead, he feels that Chelsea and Newcastle – two clubs with very different experiences this summer, both finish on top of the Red Devils. Newcastle’s year could depend on whether ISAK is staying or whether it has acquired a top-class replacement.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have no trouble getting fired through the door. Last year’s surprise package, Nottingham Forest, needs to combine domestic efforts with Europa League football.
It will be a new challenge, but Shearer still believes they will still be in the top half. Tottenham embarked on a new era, plundering Ange Postcogl despite European success.
Thomas Frank is doing a tough job, but Shearer helped them finish in eighth place just behind Aston Villa. The Midlands Club benefited from the helm of Unai Emery, but there was so much competition at the top that it fell again.
Brentford is currently at the helm of Keith Andrews and is assisted in avoiding drops narrowly, finishing past the bottom three on the 17th. Despite Graham Potter’s first full season in London, West Ham is also leaning towards a difficult year.
For people like Everton and Crystal Palace, it’s another safe year for mid-table football. The Eagles have European football, although not the competition they wanted.
Fulham, wolves and Bournemouth are tilted to be relatively safe. The tenth Brighton may have wanted more under Fabian Hazeler.
