Manchester United’s transfer window work has not yet been done to seal the signature of RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesco, but there are still other areas of improvement
Manchester United’s transfer business could potentially end up signing a midfielder after closing his contract with Benjamin Sesco. The Red Devils agreed to a £73.3 million deal with RB Leipzig, signed a striker and beat Newcastle United to his signature.
Sesko will be United’s fourth summer signing and will be taking part in the five-year contract. The initial fee will be paid £66.3 million, with the rest available as add-ons. The 22-year-old arrived Thursday evening and medical care was scheduled for Friday once the club confirmed the move.
United’s spending will rise to £214 million, but their business may not be doing it yet. After restocking the frontline, the midfielders then became the agenda for the side.
However, if the club wants to spend more importantly, sales can prove to be important. United hopes to promote movements from Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia this summer.
The group is not previously Reuben Amorim’s first team plan, and the latter trio was loaned out last season, with Garnacho dropping out with the Portuguese coach. United hopes to bring fees to each to improve its profit and sustainability status.

However, United continues to be linked to the blockbuster transfer. One midfield target looks like Brighton star Carlos Valleva.
United contacted the Seagull through an intermediary earlier this week to register interest in Baleva. The 21-year-old was signed by Brighton in 2023 for £23.2 million.
However, the requests on the part of the South Coast could still prove unpleasant. The £104 million price tag is said to have been placed in young people.
And after it was revealed that local rival Manchester City was also interested, United’s job didn’t get easy. ESPN claims that city manager Pep Guardiola is a longtime worshiper of Valleva.
The Premier League star is said to be happy to stay in Brighton for another season, with a big buck in the 12 months likely. So far, no direct contact has been made regarding Baleba.
When asked about Baleba’s future, Brighton CEO Paul Barber told BBC Sussex:
“So, from that point of view, speculation is speculation, we always try to make sure we sell not only the players, but the best players for us, at the right time.
“We don’t want to sell the best players. Carlos is an incredible talent that goes on years ahead of him. We hope he will be here for years to come. But as always, he’s subjective to the dynamics of the world of football that is not always predictable.”
