Manchester City midfielder Rodri was confirmed by Pep Guardiola after an international break in September after a gro caliber injury at the Club World Cup. Spanish International suffered a retreat while appearing with Al Giral in his final 16 years, where he picked up what Guardiola called a “big injury.”
According to Manchester Evening News, Rodri has been working primarily on his own since returning to City Football Academy, but recently attended a team session, but it is unlikely that he will miss the team due to his friendliness in Palermo and complete a full match with the wolves.
Guardiola is optimistic that the Ballon d’Or winner may make a brief appearance in matches with Wolves, Tottenham and Brighton, but he does not expect Rodri to make a peak performance until after an international break. The focus is now on protecting his recovery.
“Rodri is getting better, but he suffered a major injury in his final match against Al Hillal, and he has trained better in the last few days.
“Hopefully he can play in these games for a few minutes, but the key is that he doesn’t want to get hurt, so he’s not hurt.
“We’re trying so hard to avoid that. He’s been training the last two sessions with us, which is a good thing.”

Rodri is one of four players left behind to avoid putting fitness at risk. Phil Foden, Josko Gvardiol and Claudio Echeverri are all not perfectly suited.
While Foden and Gvardiol look at where they started against the wolves, Echeverri’s future remains uncertain about the loan profits and the excess of non-home players to include City in their Champions League squad. Guardiola said Foden had a knock, but he did not dismiss the possibility of recovering his chances of playing in a wolf match in a week.
